I presented my first public magic show in 1994 when I was still at school. I'm now fortunate to be a full-time professional entertainer and make my living performing at corporate events, parties and family functions throughout New Zealand.

I have been named New Zealand Variety Entertainer of the Year by the Variety Artists Club of New Zealand.

I'm also a member of The Magic Circle of London, the world’s most exclusive magic club - admission is reserved for top professionals.

You may have seen me on the cover of The New Zealand Herald Canvas magazine or profiled in The Sunday Star Times Sunday magazine, Driven Magazine or Metro.

In 2020 I was included in David Hartnell MNZM’s Best Dressed Men in New Zealand Showbusiness list.

I have twice served as convention chairman for the New Zealand International Magicians' Convention and was presented with a special award from Magic New Zealand which reads, "Presented to Mick Peck in recognition of his long term service and outstanding contribution to the magic fraternity of this country."

With more than a decade as a full-time professional entertainer, most of my bookings are repeat clients and word-of-mouth.

In an industry overloaded with style over substance and inexperienced entertainers, it’s this combination of professionalism, flexibility and personality along with my highly skilled magic that sets me apart in my field.

I also pride myself on being flexible and easy to work with.

It was this attention for detail that lead to me being presented with the Auckland Chamber of Commerce Awesome Service Award for providing inspirational customer service. This award is supported by NewstalkZB and the Sunday Star Times; nominations are made by happy customers and winners judged by Auckland Chamber of Commerce Chief Executive Michael Barnett ONZM.
